Insurance and Payment

Initial psychiatric evaluation: $275. 

Follow up and medication management visits: $150. 

Payment is due at the time of your visit.

I am in network with UnitedHealthcare (Optum) and Aetna. I also see patients on a self-pay basis. More plans are in process, and I will add them here the moment each one is final. If you do not see your plan yet, ask me at your first contact and I will tell you exactly where things stand.

Plans differ, so please check with your insurer that I am covered under your specific plan before your first visit.

I accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA and FSA payments. 

A superbill is an itemized receipt for a visit you have already paid for. If your insurance plan includes out of network benefits, you can send the superbill to your plan, and they may pay you back part of the cost. How much comes back, if anything, is up to your plan. One thing to know: a superbill includes a diagnosis code, because your plan needs it to process the claim.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost. If you are paying without insurance, I will give you an estimate in writing before your visit. Just ask.

Please give at least 48 hour's notice to change or cancel an appointment. 

Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full visit fee.
